Transportation
The most convenient way to reach Kalkudah Beach from Batticaloa is by tuk-tuk or taxi. The journey takes approximately 45-60 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from the Batticaloa bus stand heading towards Valachchenai. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Kalkudah junction. From there, it's a short tuk-tuk ride to the beach. Buses to Valachchenai are frequent.
