Transportation
The most common way to reach the Teide Cable Car, the starting point for accessing the Pico Viejo viewpoint, is by car. There are several parking areas near the cable car base station. Alternatively, you can take bus line 348 from Puerto de la Cruz or bus line 342 from Costa Adeje/Playa de las Americas. These buses run once a day in each direction, so plan your trip carefully.
