Mirador de Cherfe Guide
Cherfe Viewpoint: Breathtaking Panoramas of Masca Valley Guide
Prepare to be mesmerized! The Mirador de Cherfe is arguably one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Tenerife, offering unparalleled panoramic views of the iconic Masca Valley. From this vantage point, you'll witness the dramatic landscape unfold before you, with its deep ravines, towering cliffs, and the charming village of Masca nestled below. It's a photographer's dream and a must-visit for anyone exploring the Teno Mountains. The viewpoint is strategically located along the TF-346 road, making it easily accessible by car. As you gaze out, you'll understand why Masca is often referred to as the "Machu Picchu of Tenerife." The rugged terrain, sculpted by centuries of erosion, creates a truly awe-inspiring scene. On a clear day, you can even catch glimpses of the neighboring island of La Gomera in the distance. Beyond the stunning views, the Mirador de Cherfe offers a chance to connect with nature. Take a moment to breathe in the fresh mountain air and appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings. There are often local vendors selling souvenirs and refreshments, allowing you to support the local community. While there aren't specific culinary offerings at the viewpoint itself, consider packing a picnic to enjoy amidst the breathtaking scenery.
Transportation
The Mirador de Cherfe is best reached by car along the TF-346 road. It's located between Santiago del Teide and the TF-436 road leading to Masca.
