Goseong's connection to dinosaurs dates back to the Cretaceous period, when the area was a lush coastal environment. Over time, countless dinosaur footprints were imprinted into the soft mud, which eventually hardened into rock, preserving these ancient tracks for millennia. The museum was established to showcase these incredible discoveries and educate visitors about the diverse dinosaur species that once inhabited the Korean peninsula. You'll learn about the different types of dinosaurs, their habitats, and the geological processes that led to the preservation of their footprints. A visit to the Goseong Dinosaur Museum is packed with engaging activities. Explore the outdoor footprint sites, where you can see real dinosaur tracks embedded in the rock. Inside the museum, marvel at the impressive dinosaur skeletons and models, and delve into the interactive exhibits that bring these prehistoric giants to life. The museum also features a 4D theater that offers a thrilling, immersive experience. Don't forget to check out the gift shop for dinosaur-themed souvenirs to commemorate your prehistoric adventure!
