Transportation
Duncansby Head Lighthouse is located a few miles east of John o' Groats. The easiest way to reach it is by car, and there is a car park near the lighthouse. Alternatively, you can take a local taxi from John o' Groats. While there isn't a direct bus route to the lighthouse, you can take the Stagecoach Highlands bus to John o' Groats and then walk or take a taxi to Duncansby Head. The walk from John o' Groats to Duncansby Head is approximately 2 miles and offers stunning coastal views.
