Transportation
The Bucegi Mountains are accessible by car, train, and bus. The nearest major cities are Bucharest and Brasov. By car, take the DN1 (E60) from Bucharest or Brasov to Busteni or Sinaia, which are the main access points to the mountains. Trains run regularly from Bucharest and Brasov to Busteni and Sinaia. From Busteni or Sinaia, you can take a cable car or bus to the Bucegi Plateau. Buses also run from Bucharest and Brasov to Moroeni, a village at the base of the mountains.
