Transportation
From the Guimarães train station, you can take bus number 11 or 12 towards the city center. Get off at a stop near the Largo da Mumadona. Alternatively, the river is easily accessible by foot from the historic center of Guimarães, a pleasant walk of about 15-20 minutes.
