Transportation

The Pico do Ferro Viewpoint is accessible by car. From Ponta Delgada, take the EN1-1A towards Ribeira Grande, then follow signs to Furnas. From Furnas, follow the road up to the viewpoint. There is parking available at the top. Alternatively, you can take bus route 318 from Ponta Delgada to Furnas, and then hike or take a taxi to the viewpoint. The hike is quite steep.
