Originally established as a government stock farm, the area was transformed into a botanical garden in 1936. It was later renamed Centennial Park in 2009 to commemorate the centennial anniversary of Baguio City. It also features themed sections representing different cultures, such as the Japanese Tunnel and the Igorot Village. Visitors can stroll along the winding pathways, admire the colorful flowers, and learn about the different plant species. You can also explore the Igorot Village, which features traditional Cordilleran houses and artifacts, offering a glimpse into the region's indigenous culture. Transportation
You can easily reach the Baguio Botanical Garden by taxi or jeepney. Jeepneys with routes passing near the garden include those going to Mines View Park or Pacdal. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Botanical Garden entrance. Taxis are also readily available throughout Baguio City.
