Transportation
The most common way to reach Portobelo is by bus from Colón. Buses depart frequently from the Colón bus terminal and the journey takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. You can also hire a taxi from Colón, but this will be significantly more expensive. From Panama City, you can take a bus to Colón and then transfer to a bus to Portobelo. Alternatively, some tour operators offer direct transportation from Panama City.
