Transportation

There are a few options for accessing Sendero Los Quetzales. Many hikers start in Boquete and hike towards Cerro Punta, or vice versa. Buses run regularly between Boquete and Cerro Punta. You can take a bus to either town and then arrange for a taxi to the trailhead. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi directly from Boquete to the trailhead. Some tour operators offer guided hikes with transportation included.
