Transportation

Al Muntarib Fort is located in the town of Al Wasil, which is easily accessible by car. From Muscat, take Route 23 towards Sur, then follow the signs to Al Wasil. The drive takes approximately 2-3 hours. Once in Al Wasil, the fort is centrally located and easily walkable from most parts of the town. Taxis are also available within Al Wasil.
