Transportation
Hegra Fortress is easily accessible from Trondheim. Take the train from Trondheim Central Station to Hegra Station (approximately 30 minutes). From Hegra Station, it's a pleasant 20-minute walk to the fortress. Alternatively, you can take bus number 723 from Trondheim to Hegra. Get off at the 'Hegra Festning' stop, which is right at the entrance to the fortress.
