Transportation
The easiest way to reach Innerdalen is by car. Drive to Ålvundeidet, about 30 minutes from Åndalsnes. From Ålvundeidet, follow the signs to Innerdalen. You'll need to park at the parking area at the end of the road (toll road). From there, it's a relatively easy hike of about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) into the heart of the valley.
