Transportation

Goat Island Marine Reserve is located near Leigh, a small coastal town a short drive from Warkworth. The easiest way to get there is by car. From Warkworth, follow the signs to Leigh. Once in Leigh, follow the signs to Goat Island. There is a car park at Goat Island, but it can get busy during peak season. Bus: From Warkworth, you can take the 998 bus to Leigh School. From there, it's approximately a 30-minute walk to Goat Island.
