Transportation
Totaranui Beach is accessible by road, water taxi, or by hiking the Abel Tasman Coast Track. By road, from Takaka, follow State Highway 60 towards Collingwood. Turn left onto Totaranui Road and follow it to the end. Be aware that the road is unsealed in places and can be narrow and winding. Water taxis operate from Kaiteriteri and Marahau, providing a convenient way to reach Totaranui. The Abel Tasman Coast Track offers a multi-day hiking experience, with Totaranui being a popular stopover point.
