Transportation
Gemstone Beach is located near Orepuki, along State Highway 99 (Southern Scenic Route). From Invercargill, drive west. As you approach Orepuki, look for signs indicating Gemstone Beach. There is a designated parking area near the beach access point. The beach is a short walk from the parking area.
