Transportation
Lake Tutira is located approximately 55 kilometers north of Napier. The most convenient way to reach the Lake Tutira Walkway is by car. From Napier, take State Highway 2 north towards Wairoa. The lake and walkway are well signposted from the highway. Parking is available near the start of the walkway.
