Hobbs Beach is located on Tiritiri Matangi Island, accessible only by ferry. Fullers360 operates regular ferry services from downtown Auckland (Pier 4, Quay Street) and Gulf Harbour. Check their website for schedules and booking information as times vary depending on the season. Allow approximately 75 minutes for the ferry journey from Auckland and 20 minutes from Gulf Harbour. From the ferry landing on the island, follow the well-marked walking tracks towards the beach. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
