Transportation
The Namib-Naukluft National Park is best accessed by car, preferably a 4x4 vehicle, especially if you plan to explore the Sossusvlei area. You can rent a car in Walvis Bay or Windhoek. The main entrance to the park is near Sesriem. From Walvis Bay, take the B2 east towards Windhoek, then turn south onto the C14 towards Solitaire and Sesriem.
