Transportation
Reaching Sesfontein Fort requires a 4x4 vehicle due to the challenging road conditions. From Windhoek, take the B1 north to Otjiwarongo, then the C35 west to Kamanjab. From Kamanjab, take the D2620 to Sesfontein. The journey is long and can take a full day, so it's best to plan accordingly. Alternatively, you can arrange a flight to a nearby airstrip and then transfer to the fort by vehicle.
