Transportation
The Mile 4 Salt Works is located just north of Henties Bay. From Henties Bay, drive north along the coastal road (C34) for approximately 4 miles (6 kilometers). The salt works will be visible on your left. There is no public transportation directly to the salt works, so a car is necessary. Taxis may be available from Henties Bay, but it's best to arrange a return trip in advance.
