Transportation
Halali Waterhole is located within Etosha National Park. Access is by vehicle, either your own or as part of a guided tour. The roads within the park are generally well-maintained gravel roads, suitable for 2WD vehicles, although 4WD is recommended for certain areas and during the rainy season. The closest entrance gate to Halali is the Von Lindequist Gate (near Namutoni). From there, follow the park's road network to Halali rest camp and the waterhole. Distances within the park can be significant, so plan your driving time accordingly.
