Transportation
Getting to Taghia is an adventure in itself. The most common starting point is Marrakech. From Marrakech, take a grand taxi (shared taxi) or a private taxi to Azilal. From Azilal, you'll need to hire another taxi or a 4x4 vehicle to Zaouiat Ahansal, the village closest to Taghia. The final leg of the journey from Zaouiat Ahansal to Taghia is typically done on foot or by mule, as the road is unpaved and rough. Be prepared for a long and bumpy ride, but the reward is well worth the effort.
