Transportation
Dar el Makhzen is located in the Kasbah district of Tangier, which is best reached on foot. From the Grand Socco, walk uphill towards the Kasbah. You can also take a taxi to the Kasbah gate and walk from there. Buses also run to the Kasbah area, but walking is the most convenient way to explore the narrow streets.
