Transportation
Merzouga is the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. You can reach Merzouga by bus from major cities like Fes and Marrakech. Supratours and CTM are two reputable bus companies that operate these routes. From Fes, the journey takes approximately 9-10 hours. From Marrakech, it's a longer journey, around 12-13 hours. Once in Merzouga, you can easily arrange transportation to the dunes with local guides or your accommodation. Many hotels and camps are located near the edge of the dunes, making them easily accessible.
