The trail winds through the jungle, offering glimpses of exotic birds and vibrant flora. For the adventurous, horseback riding is a popular way to reach the falls, adding a touch of rustic charm to the experience. Beyond the waterfall, Quimixto offers a variety of activities to suit every taste. Relax on the beach, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or try your hand at surfing. Several beachfront restaurants serve fresh seafood, caught daily by local fishermen. Be sure to try the grilled fish tacos or the ceviche, prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The village also offers opportunities for snorkeling and diving, allowing you to explore the vibrant underwater world. Don't forget to haggle for souvenirs from the local vendors selling handmade crafts and jewelry.
