Croco Cun Zoo Guide
Get Wild and Personal: A Hands-On Wildlife Adventure Guide
Croco Cun Zoo, located near Puerto Morelos, offers a unique and interactive wildlife experience. Unlike traditional zoos, Croco Cun allows visitors to get up close and personal with a variety of animals, including crocodiles, spider monkeys, snakes, deer, and more. This is an adventure for the brave and curious, offering a chance to learn about the local ecosystem and its inhabitants in a truly engaging way. Croco Cun Zoo started as a crocodile farm, aiming to conserve and protect these reptiles. Over time, it evolved into a zoo that houses a variety of rescued and rehabilitated animals. The zoo plays an important role in educating the public about the importance of wildlife conservation and the delicate balance of the local ecosystem. The main attraction is the guided tour, where you'll have the opportunity to hold baby crocodiles, feed spider monkeys, and walk among deer. Knowledgeable guides provide information about each animal and its habitat. For the truly adventurous, there's even the chance to walk through a crocodile enclosure (with guidance, of course!). While there isn't a specific culinary tradition associated with the zoo, Puerto Morelos offers a variety of seafood restaurants and traditional Mexican eateries.
