Swim in the crystal-clear waters, snorkel along the rocky coastline, or simply soak up the sun on the black sand beach. The beach is also a popular spot for hiking, with trails leading to nearby waterfalls and viewpoints. The hike to Cascade Couleuvre starts near the beach. While there are no restaurants directly on Anse Couleuvre, the nearby village of Grand Rivière offers a variety of dining options. Be sure to try some fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants, savoring the flavors of the island. Accras (cod fritters) and Colombo (a flavorful curry) are local favorites.
