While Thulusdhoo itself doesn't have a deep historical narrative tied to diving, the Maldives as a whole boasts a rich maritime history. For centuries, Maldivians have relied on the ocean for sustenance and trade. The development of diving tourism in the Maldives has allowed visitors to experience the beauty and biodiversity of the underwater ecosystems that have always been integral to the Maldivian way of life. Thulusdhoo Dive Center contributes to this legacy by providing safe and responsible diving experiences. The dive center offers a range of activities, including introductory dives for beginners, PADI certification courses, and guided dive trips to various dive sites around Thulusdhoo. Popular dive sites include Manta Point, where you can swim alongside majestic manta rays, and various reef dives teeming with colorful fish, turtles, and sharks. Beyond diving, you can enjoy snorkeling, island hopping, and exploring the local culture of Thulusdhoo. Maldivian cuisine is heavily influenced by the sea, so be sure to try fresh seafood dishes like grilled fish, curries, and "Garudhiya" (fish soup).
