Transportation
Reaching Kaunas Lagoon Regional Park depends on which part of the park you want to visit. For access to the Rumšiškės side of the park, follow the transportation instructions to Rumšiškės Open-Air Museum (above), as the museum is located within the park's boundaries. For other areas of the park, consider taking a bus from Kaunas to one of the surrounding villages, such as Girionys or Vaišvydava. Check local bus schedules for specific routes and destinations. Alternatively, renting a car provides the most flexibility for exploring the park's various attractions.
