Transportation
Getting to Tad Sae Waterfalls requires a combination of transportation. First, you'll need to take a tuk-tuk or songthaew (shared taxi) from Luang Prabang to the village of Ban En, which is about 15 kilometers southeast of the city. From Ban En, you'll need to take a boat across the Nam Khan River to reach the waterfalls. The boat ride is short and scenic, adding to the adventure. Tuk-tuks and songthaews can be easily arranged through your hotel or guesthouse, or you can flag one down in the city center.
