Miraculously, the storm subsided, and two springs of fresh water, "Hashirimizu" (running water), emerged on the shore, ensuring the prince's safe return. The shrine was built to honor her sacrifice and the life-giving waters. Visitors can explore the shrine grounds, admire the traditional architecture, and soak in the panoramic views of Tokyo Bay. You can draw water from the sacred springs, believed to bring good fortune and safe travels. Many visitors write their wishes on ema (wooden plaques) and hang them at the shrine. Transportation
From Yokosuka-Chuo Station (Keikyu Line), take the Keikyu Bus bound for Hashirimizu-Iwaido (走水・岩戸). Get off at the Hashirimizu bus stop (走水). The shrine is a short walk from the bus stop.
