Transportation
From Tono Station, take the Iwateken Kotsu Bus bound for Hayachine Sanso (早池峰山荘). The bus runs seasonally (typically from late spring to early autumn) and the ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From Hayachine Sanso, it's the starting point for the hiking trails to the summit.
