Transportation
The most convenient way to reach Shirakawa-go is by bus. From Takayama, take the Nohi Bus or the Kaetsuno Bus. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Buses depart regularly from the Takayama Nohi Bus Center, located next to the JR Takayama Station. From Nagoya, you can take the Gifu Bus to Shirakawa-go. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.
