Transportation
From Takayama, take the Nohi Bus to Shirakawa-go bus terminal. From the bus terminal, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk to Shirakawa Hachiman Shrine. Follow the signs towards the village center and the shrine will be clearly marked. Alternatively, local taxis are available from the bus terminal.
