Transportation

From Kumamoto Station, take the Kumamoto City Tram (Route A) towards Suizenji-koen. Get off at the 'Dongyokumae' stop. From there, take the Kumamoto City Bus (Ken 13, Ken 14, or Ken 15) to the 'Dobutsuen Shokubutsuen Iriguchi' (Zoo and Botanical Gardens Entrance) bus stop.

Opening Hours

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Last entry at 4:30 PM). Closed on Mondays (or the following Tuesday if Monday is a public holiday) and December 29th to January 1st.

Adults: 500 yen, Children (Elementary and Junior High School Students): 100 yen
