Ningle Terrace Guide

Enchanted Forest: Discover the Whimsical World of Ningle Terrace Guide

Step into a fairytale at Ningle Terrace, a charming collection of handcrafted log cabins nestled in the woods near the New Furano Prince Hotel. This unique artisan village offers a magical atmosphere, especially during the evening when the cabins are illuminated with soft, warm lights. Each cabin houses a different artisan showcasing and selling their handcrafted goods, inspired by the natural beauty of Furano. It's a perfect place to find unique souvenirs and experience the creativity of local artists. The concept of Ningle Terrace was inspired by the writings of Japanese author Shin Furukawa, who wrote about "Ningle," small forest spirits. The creators of Ningle Terrace sought to capture the essence of these mythical creatures and create a space where visitors could connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of handcrafted art. The village was designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding forest, creating a sense of harmony and tranquility. At Ningle Terrace, you can browse the various artisan shops, each offering a unique selection of handcrafted goods. You'll find everything from glasswork and paper crafts to woodwork and leather goods. Many of the artisans are on-site, allowing you to watch them at work and learn about their craft. In addition to shopping, Ningle Terrace offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for strolling and enjoying the natural surroundings. During the winter months, the snow-covered cabins create an even more magical and enchanting experience. A cafe is also available for refreshments.
