Kasamatsu Park offers the classic, postcard-perfect view of Amanohashidate. Located on the opposite side of Miyazu Bay from Amanohashidate View Land, this park provides a different perspective, allowing you to see the entire sandbar stretching across the water. It's another popular spot for performing the "matanozoki" viewing method, which enhances the dragon-like appearance of the sandbar. Kasamatsu Park has been a renowned scenic spot for centuries, attracting visitors who come to admire the natural beauty of Amanohashidate. The park's elevated location provides an unobstructed view of the sandbar and the surrounding landscape. Transportation
From Amanohashidate Station, take a bus to the Kasamatsu Park cable car station. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a sightseeing boat from Amanohashidate to Ichinomiya Pier, which is a short walk from the cable car station. Bus: * 丹後海陸交通 (Tango Kairiku Kotsu) bus bound for Kasamatsu Park (傘松公園). Get off at the final stop.
