Pienza: The Ideal Renaissance City Guide
Step back in time and immerse yourself in the perfectly planned Renaissance town of Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled in the heart of the Val d'Orcia. Transportation
Reaching Pienza is best done by car, allowing you to explore the surrounding Val d'Orcia at your own pace. From the A1 highway (Autostrada del Sole), take the Chiusi-Chianciano Terme exit and follow signs for Pienza. Parking is available outside the town walls. The bus stop is located just outside the town walls, within easy walking distance of the historic center.
