The Tappeiner Walk (Tappeinerweg in German, Passeggiata Tappeiner in Italian) is a unique and stunning promenade that winds its way along the hillside above the charming town of Merano, Italy. The walk quickly became a popular attraction and remains so to this day. A walk along the Tappeiner Walk is the main activity, allowing you to soak in the incredible views and enjoy the unique microclimate. The path is lined with a diverse collection of plants, including Mediterranean flora, alpine species, and exotic specimens. You'll find benches along the way to rest and admire the scenery. Transportation
The Tappeiner Walk can be accessed from various points in Merano. You can walk uphill from the town center, following signs for Tappeinerweg. Alternatively, you can take Bus Line 1B to the 'Tappeinerweg' stop, which will drop you off near one of the entrances. The walk is also accessible from the Gilfpromenade.
