Transportation
Reaching Keem Bay is best done by car. From Achill Sound, follow the R319 towards Dugort and then continue along the winding coastal road towards Keem Bay. The road is narrow in places, so drive carefully. Parking is available at the top of the hill overlooking the bay. Bus Eireann route 440 serves Achill Island, but it's a considerable walk from the nearest bus stop in Dugort to Keem Bay, so a car is highly recommended.
