Transportation
The closest airport is Silangit Airport (DTB) near Lake Toba. From the airport, you can take a taxi or bus to Parapat, a town on the edge of the lake. From Parapat, ferries regularly depart to Tomok and other villages on Samosir Island. Public buses also connect Parapat to other cities in North Sumatra.
