Transportation
The Cancar Spider Rice Fields are located approximately 17 kilometers west of Ruteng. The most common way to reach them is by hiring a private car or motorbike from Ruteng. The journey takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Alternatively, you can take a local *bemo* (minibus) to Cancar village and then walk to the viewpoint. Be sure to negotiate the price with the driver beforehand. The road to Cancar can be bumpy in places, so be prepared for a slightly rough ride.
