Transportation
The easiest way to get to Amed is by renting a car or hiring a driver from popular tourist areas like Denpasar, Ubud, or Candidasa. The journey from Denpasar takes approximately 2.5-3 hours, from Ubud around 2 hours, and from Candidasa about 1 hour. Several shuttle bus services also operate between these locations and Amed. Once in Amed, you can easily get around by renting a scooter or using local taxis.
