Transportation
The nearest airport is Hubli Airport (HBX), about 50 km away. From Hubli, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Mundgod. Alternatively, you can take a train to Hubli Junction railway station and then proceed to Mundgod by bus or taxi. Several buses operate from major cities in Karnataka, such as Bangalore and Mangalore, to Mundgod. Once in Mundgod, you can easily get around by auto-rickshaw or on foot.
