Transportation
From Matheran railway station, you can hire a horse or a hand-pulled rickshaw to reach Echo Point. A pleasant walk of approximately 45 minutes to an hour will also get you there, allowing you to soak in the natural beauty of Matheran. Remember, motor vehicles are not allowed within Matheran.
