The easiest way to reach Chapora Fort is by taxi or auto-rickshaw from Mapusa or nearby towns like Anjuna and Vagator. Buses also run to Vagator, from where you can hire a taxi or auto-rickshaw to the fort. From Mapusa, take a bus heading towards Vagator or Anjuna. Get off at Vagator and then take a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to the fort. The journey from Mapusa takes approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.
