The nearest airport is Calicut International Airport (CCJ), approximately 100 km away. From the airport or nearby cities like Kozhikode (Calicut), you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Mananthavady. From Mananthavady, local buses and auto-rickshaws are available to reach the Banasura Sagar Dam. Several buses travel from Kalpetta to the dam as well.
