Transportation
Poonjar Palace is located a bit outside Kottayam town. **Bus:** Take a bus from Kottayam KSRTC bus stand towards Erattupetta or Poonjar. Get off at Poonjar town. From there, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to reach the palace. **Taxi/Auto-rickshaw:** Hiring a taxi or auto-rickshaw directly from Kottayam is also an option, but it will be more expensive than taking a bus.
